Functionality & Mechanism

This longitudinal data collection tool, developed by the Cognitive-Communication in Aging and Neurogenic Disorders Lab (CCANDL), is designed to facilitate the detection of changes in speech and language. The system's mechanism is a structured, multi-year data acquisition protocol. This protocol utilizes a battery of six distinct activities administered on a weekly basis during an eight-week assessment interval. The platform schedules these data collection intervals to repeat annually over a three-year period, enabling the systematic monitoring of user performance data across extended timeframes.

This instrument is intended for use by participants within research studies to gather data on speech and language characteristics.
